Project with a Large Multilateral Agency on developing the Logistics Policy for a State in India

The Client, an international financial institution and multilateral agency that provides loans and grants to the governments of low- and middle-income countries to pursue capital projects, wanted to identify how the logistics sector can be improved in a state in India, with greater emphasis on the public-private partnership (PPP). As a part of this project, Intueri prepared a detailed report outlining the current scenario and identified areas of improvement.  

The study for the Agency included the development of the following: 

• Identifying suitable policy reforms to develop an efficient logistics ecosystem 
• Developing Policy Matrix and identifying prior actions, indicative triggers and outcomes of the reform 
• Providing the policy matrix for the Development Policy Loan (DPL) primarily covering four pillars of reforms such as i) Governance Structure Land Reforms and allotment strategy ii) Enhancement of Border Infrastructure to enhance cross border trade o Capacity Building and Skill Development strategy 
• Creating Project Appraisal Document (PAD) covering macroeconomic policy framework, project concept no, risks, and mitigation.
