The client, a state government of India, aimed to provide a strategy for the development of built heritage sites by attracting private investment. They required Intueri’s assistance to develop and analyse the best model to work on providing preservation, management and conservation strategies and techniques for built heritage.
The project included:
- Defining Policy Period and Coverage – Operative Period, Policy Coverage Area, and Definitions of Various Terms
- Quantum of Capital Investment Subsidy to Heritage Hotels for Private Players – Eligible Capital Investment, Admissible subsidy, and maximum limit
- Quantum of Capital Investment subsidy to other Heritage units except for Private Players – Eligible Capital Investment, Admissible subsidy, and maximum limit
- Define eligible areas of investment in Heritage Property such as Civil Works (Structural and facilities), Plant and equipment, and machinery necessary for running heritage tourism and defining other areas of the private sector
